The Xhosa chief is more monarch than the Darod chief since he is recognized as a King by several African states as well as international players. He is still powerless but before colonization the Zulus had monarch counties of their own.
He is no Somali monarch.
The Zulu and Xhosa Kings view King Burhan as their equal.

They can and they should but in the eyes of Somalis he is just another tribal chief----which happens to be Darod. Issa have their own little tribal chief, as do many other tribes. But Somalis in general believe in no monarchy nor is Somalia a monarch state. So really he played the South African tribal chiefs very well

Zumaale,
I know you're kidding but I'm actually interesting in conducting a DNA test on the Boqor and other subclan chiefs in Puntland, but funding is the issue. Are there any universities that are interested in studying Somalis?

God bless my honorable boqor Burhan, what he is doing is very charitable and incredible. He is my hero.
Wow what a bunch of despiteful, ungrateful peasants you all are. The king is doing this for the Somali people and you niggers are spewing your bullshit on here. Tell me what Somali leader talked or tried to help stop this? I will wait.

Somalis would be a suitable ethnic group to test on account of their relative homogeneity and isolated nomadic history. Imagine obtaining a representative sample from every clan. The results of such a study would put to rest any debate as to how different clans are related and to what extent they are of exotic origins.
Sadly, the cost of such a study would run into the tens of thousands.
If only Snetters were willing to carry out their own small scale research project using themselves as subjects.

Is he really there for the xenophobic attacks or just for a tour. There is more then meets the eye.
And even if he was there for the xenophobic attacks. It is his qabiil that suffer the most at the hand of the xenophobic attacks, the Jubalanders.

King of the Zulu hands an expensive piece of leopard pelt to the King of the Somali.
The two Kings discussed how their two ethnic groups can live in peace over dinner.
