How is everyone from Xamar? Xamar is really small. Don't mention what you stated in your asylum applications, but where you're actually from (born, grew up or spent the most time).

I'm a Jubalander/Azanian, my parents were nomadic and lived all over Somalia/Somali regions. My grandparents also have no real 'home county' because those didn't exist when they were growing up. I adopted Gedo as my home region when I went to visit as a young teen, hence being a Jubalander/Azanian.

as for claiming xamar I doubt most people are lieing considering xamar wasn't the only place where the fighting was taking place they could've just chose anywhere in somalia when they were seeking asylum.

dude less people are responding to your question and some others erased their comments why ? Because most Somalis in here are not from Somalia but other Somali lands. only yalaxaw deeqa and warsheekh came from Somalia they too have not been there over 20 years !
