BBC - Al-Shabab loses key Bardere stronghold

Why is it that this is the version of events being reported by other credible sources?
There is no mention of civilian casualties or rapes.
And this is BBC these guys make Kenya look as bad as possible to justify their travel bans,
they would definitely report that kind of stuff if it were true.

You are absolutely right that Aidid brought about this mess. I may also add that you are partially correct. We cannot discount the fact that former junta, led by Siad Barre, was equally culpable of the destruction of Somalia. Let us be objective in our analysis.

I say it like I see it. Closer to home, I do not like what Ismail Omar Gelle is doing in Djibouti. I am afraid we are headed in the same wrong direction as in Somalia. He scuttled away the constitution and will run again for a 4th term. The Djibouti Constitution limits the presidency to two terms.
