I have received sooryo many times in different ways

Non of the girls were related to me directly except hailing from the same reer/jufo

Some of them were at nikah occasion in wich i was present

the different one was when this guy gave me a call to meet him at a restaurent and gave me some money

I knew him from a far and I was not happy about this marriage.... just accepted from him as a mujamala

The reason I was against him was bc he took advantage of some of my familys relations to know her

I dont know why then, thats for you but I think my post is clear sxb

my first point was about the sooryo that according to my experience its not limited to the girls direct family or close relatives

My second point was about its occasions and i said some were at nikaax attendance at the end of the meeting except one case

I think sooryo is to get blessings from her reer

or maybe its not included her direct family
