:lol: :lol: that's the xeedho, waslad is a section of that I assume. Men (from groom & bride's side) are supposed to eat it after the groom successfully opens the tricky knots in the strings of the xeedho :lol:

^ you're right CaliQase, that used to be the case but it's not customary now as weddings are segregated. It signifies how well he can do the same to his wife on their wedding night.

anything not woqooyi and galbeed is rer hamar to me. majority of somalis , not woqooyi and galbeed, claim they came from hamar tho.

no bro, i was in imeey and qalaafo, they have funny accent, specially qalaafo. but puntland until raskabooni is hamar to me .i know i am wrong but that is what i think in my head.lol

lool... that is where my blood peeps from my sub sub sub sub clan from originally...tho my father born in harar.

they are a lot and my family had some naku abtirsado now. we call them reer baare. bantu , jareer etc...snet ba iku horeysan i maqlo.

Yeah bro, there are loads of them in those towns. They are called Reer Dube in Imey and Reer Barre in Qalafo.
