Its was just political decision and now when its not serving our interest Somalia should leave the Arab League. Its useless organisation anyway.

Don't get me wrong, I'm proud to be Somali and I acknowledge that we are indigenous and I recognise the similarity between different Cushitic peoples. When I went I went back to Somalia/Somaliland, for example, I saw Oromos who looked no different that the Somalis (some say they were lost Dir lol), you couldn't tell the difference but some clans do however claim Banu Hashim descent so it is wrong to say that people don't claim Arab ancestry.
