What's with the educated nonsense? As if one really needs a college/university degree to know right from wrong.
It's a Burcaawi technique

facts on the ground show the Russia air support and the Syrian/Hezbollah joint offensive in Aleppo province is a game changer and the northern high way to Turkey is cut
Once the Northwest corridor is cut, the rebels will be squeezed off.

Glory to the Syrian government, Syrian people, Syrian armed forces, Hezbollah and Russia who are assisting Syria to defeat the jihadis.
So basically we all know that the US, Saudi, Qatar and Turkey are in deep shock on behalf of the defeated moderate beheaders , and Russia is on the side of the legitimate government .
The westerns are joke. It was wishful thinking to call salafafacist moderate rebels
Beheaders are now saying American-made anti-tank TOW is no longer stopping Syrian army.
Some of the moderate beheaders are listed here:
1-Syrian Islamic Front, a Salafafacist coalition led by the Ahrar al-Sham
2-Syrian Liberation Front, another Salafafacist alliance that is led by Saqour al-Sham
3-Liwa al-Tawhid, an Salafafacist group leading the fight in Aleppo
4-The most powerful fighting force on the ground the Jabhat al-Nusra, a branch of Al-Qaeda
5-The Farouq Battalions is another Salafafacist fighting force, including more hardline Salafafacist and so-called “moderate rebels"
6-Ansar al-Islam is a coalition of Salafafacist fighters near Damascus
7- and the only non jihadist force is the Democratic Union Party, a Kurdish force in the northeast.
Conclusion, if these beheaders takeover Syria, these monsters will immediately start infighting just like Libya.
I can't believe there are some people who still believe the west is spreading democracy and its humanitarian "values". Are some people honestly this retarded? These fools have been watching too much BBC, Skynews and CNN. All this we are seeing is because of western geopolitical motives to control the resources of the world. The west must remain as the sole economic powerhouse, and to do this, the Middle East must be contained and propped with governments that align with western interests such as the backstabbing Saudis and Turks. And don't forget the U.S confronting the rising superpower China as a result of the U.S pivot to Asia protocol. What is this protocols aims? To ultimately have a monopoly on resources and industries in the Asian region. Remember when Iraq was invaded and destroyed under the false pretence of weapons of mass destruction? Remember when Qadaafi was killed? And how Libya - then the richest country in Africa - was reduced to the state it is in today? Open your eyes people.
Washington has essentially alienated the fastest growing countries in the world. Putin and the BRICS organisation wants to connect continents with high-speed rail, lift living standards globally and transform themselves into manufacturing dynamos. And what do American leaders dream about? Drone warfare? Balancing the budget? Banning the confederate flag? Toppling democratically elected governments who refuse to bow down to American/European Imperialism? Funding and financing proxy wars then invading those very same countries under the false pretence of "democracy"?
Listen up Fellas. The dollar is toast. The IMF is toast. The US debt market (US Treasuries) is toast. The institutions that support US power are crumbling before our very eyes. The BRICS have had enough, scratch that, the world has had enough; enough war, enough Wall Street, enough meddling and hypocrisy and austerity and lecturing. Guys, this is it. It's over. The empire of European hegemony is crumbling and will soon fall.
Anyways, may Allah bless the great Al-Basshar Assad and Vladimir Putin.
Siyyad Barre, the true Lion of East Africa will always live on as the greatest statesman of Somalia. He did some things which were no doubt wrong, but alas, his goal of a united and strong Somalia was well intentioned, noble and sincere. His dream of a unified Somalia will be soon realised inshallah.

The folks sitting here having sympathy for a guy who's troops make you say "There is No God other than Bashar" and if you don't, I seriously question your Imaan. At that point it's not even about politics anymore.
That's not all his troops or supporters though. I've seen those videos, they're ridiculous.
But gurey is right, the majority of the Syrian Arab Army are Sunni Muslims. If this was as cut and dry as sectarianism, then the Alawites would have been gone a long time ago.
Russia has a base in Syria that its had for over 40 years. It has significant interests in maintaining its Mediterranean footprint.
Turkey and the Gulf States have pledged to get rid of Assad. Beneath that, Qatar wants that gas pipeline that goes through Syria and Turkey into Europe for its future economic benefit. However, the Syrian government has already a memorandum of understanding with Iran and Iraq into building a pipeline from Iran through Iraq/Syria into Turkey supplying Europe with gas.
That's the REAL reason for the Syrian tragedy. And you can see where the parties have aligned. Turkey and Iran have good trade relations that haven't been affected by this proxy war but Turkey will welcome that pipeline from wherever once its built.
There are no angles here, both sides have committed atrocities,
but we should not be susceptible to brainwashing by western media, any intelligent person should be able to understand it by now.
We need to move beyond emotions and use our heads.
There is only once side that has a vision of a stable and peaceful and more inclusive syria and the ability to make it happen.
This is Russia, why?
Look at all the opposition, there are several groups, infact over 50 groups grouped into half a dozen alliances,
and then you have the Daesh freaks.
Do you think you will get a peacefull syria, if the governtment loses?
N you will have a continued civil war for decades and the dismemberment and the extinction of Syria is a state.
Turkey will annex northern syria, and Isreal will annex the hawaran region next to the golan, that is full of druze that can be assimilated , some of the best farmland and potential oil deposits.
The rest will be left to rot and only controlled by drone strikes, and bribes to the main warlords and millitias.
This is what all those who oppose assad are fighting for,
Now the Russian plan is for the borders to be closed, and the supply from the turkish borders and jordan cut off.
Then a slow and meticulous advance against the rebels, focusing only on strategic areas not just land, and minimizing casualties.
This they are doing and its working perfectly.
After sources of weapons and ammo is gone, most of the rebels will simply flee to europe as refugees and get german welfare payments
already several thousands have left for turkey, and have probably already reached europe.
This will leave the real opposition groups that have real local support, and do not rely 100% on foriegn funding,
and the Die hards.
Russia wants to negotiate with them in the future, and has already forced Assad to agree to future talks, and powersharing.
But first there needs to be a culling of the weak rebels , this is why they have focused on what the west calls "Moderate rebels"
and there is nothing that can stop that save a NATO invasion, I said Nato invasion not Turkey.
So there you have it, in future you will have peace talks with the real rebel groups,
those that have population behind them, and can fight a guerilla war indefinitely,
all others will be toast.
and for those fools who believe in democracy
LOOOOL
DEMOCRACY is Double edged blade and cut both ways.
Lets imagine that in future there are free elections held in syria, and there are international moniters who ensure its freedom,
and there are UN troops protecting the rebel held areas, and the elections happen.
If its a presidential system, then Assad wins hands down, due to demographics
he has all the non Sunnis behind him, and a large chunk of the Sunni population too.
Lets say all the sunnis abandon him, he still wins,
because he will face multiple opponents who will divide the votes .
If it is a parlaimentary system, assad party will win easily and hold power for a long time,
again due to demographics and the deep divisions of the opposition.
Even in Europe you have governments that won only 20% of the vote, assad will get 150% to 200% more than that.
This is why the west never talks about peace talks and democratic elections in Syria,
Only Russia does and Assad does,
they have done their math and figured that they are guaranteed to win any elections,
the west knows this too..

Your description of a mad max scenario where nations will come in and gobble up lands from other countries is ludicrous. Nations are held accountable by international law and there are checks and balances which will make it impossible for them to legitimize their acquisitions in the face of the world. If Turkey and Israel were to take land they'd have to deal with not just the eternal hostility of Syria but also risk massive external political and economic disruption/sabotage. Israel is already nearly a pariah globally now, but i don't think they want to make more enemies.

lol absolutely not true. The SAA had always alawite majority even before 2011
Syrian army was about 300,000 half them were either killed, defected to/deserted from the army so they doubled the half again with pro-regime militias and mercenaries....150,000 alawite soldiers/militiamen have been killed
Hafiz al assad was fearing iraq more than israel bc of its support for the MB so he placed most of the sunni SAA in the northeastren provinces such as al raqa, deir alzour, hasaka and the rest in quneitra...all this army has defected thats why zero SAA presence in these two regions...in quneitra there r druze militias
Sunni SAA in homs have defected....al talas family like mustafa talas, manaf al talas who worked closesly with al assad family hail from this region all their bases have defected to the FSA so they stopped supporting the regime https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Rastan
So what has remained from the SSA? Only the alawite 4th division and republic guard oncentrated in damascus, between daraa and the westren, southren neighbourhoods of Damascus and between homs and damascus this is why rebels in daraa and quneitra cant reach their bases in southern damascus or from the qalamoun side....
Rest r shabiha, NDF(army of minoritiea)hizbullah, Asian/iranian and iraqi shia
Alawite 4th division and republic guard about strong higly paid 50,000 who protect the regime
