Gaashaamo for Hawd region capital.
Ciidagale, Habar Yoonis, Habar Jeclo, Dhulbahante, Ogaadeen, Mareexaan, Majeerteen, Gaadsan (Dir) and other smaller clans. According to people here Arap being part of the Hawd clans is debatable.sanguinne wrote:what are all the clans that live in the hawd?

I dont know why you put "small numbers" next to Habar Jeclo when solomadow, Reer Daahir, Black Aden, Yesef, Cibran, all settle in the Hawd. Compare this to a single Majerteen subtribe or Marexaan which is odd, not to mention leaving out Dhulbahnte who have are divided beteen reer nugaal and reer hawd, your list is incorrect...Jugjugwacwac wrote:Ciidagale, Habar Yoonis, Habar Jeclo (in smaller numbers), Ogaadeen, Mareexaan, Majeerteen, Gaadsan (Dir) and other smaller clans. I removed the "small numbers" next to beesha Habar Jeclo. And as for Dhulbahante I thought I included them, thanks for pointing it out.skywalker25 wrote:

Look at these links http://qaawane.net/2015/06/deg-deg-daga ... -wardheer/MarsinQorahay wrote:Jugjug, wardheer is settled by makahiil ogs and mjs, mareexan do not settle in hawd but south of shilaabo and the ethio border with galgaduud.
Where does it say that they settle there? It says that 2 ilkoyars has been killed in wardheer and the clashes in galgaduud and kilil border.Jugjugwacwac wrote:Look at this http://qaawane.net/2015/06/deg-deg-daga ... -wardheer/MarsinQorahay wrote:Jugjug, wardheer is settled by makahiil ogs and mjs, mareexan do not settle in hawd but south of shilaabo and the ethio border with galgaduud.

Thanks for the map, as it proves my point about the Mareexaan, but it's inaccurate as it underestimates the territory of the Isaaq and possibly some of the other clans shown, and overestimate the territory of others.skywalker25 wrote:
