In oct 1935 the Italian General Rodolfo Graziani commanded the troops attacking Ethiopia, by June 1936 the Italian flag was flowing over the capital Addis Ababa. After conquering Ethiopia the Italian had their east afircan empire and they called it " Empero Africa Orientale Italiana) that included Somalia the ethiopian Somali region , Eritrea and Ethiopia itself. Then the Italian introduced what they termed " Sei Governi" dividing their empire into six ethnic goverments , :

1- Amxaara
2- Galla-Sidaamo
3- Shawo
4- Harar
5- Eritria
6- Somalia ( including the Ogaden)

For each of these small governi the Italian designated a flag and for the Somali colony they designated a flag with a blue background and five pointed star ( just like the modern one and they call the new flag La Grande Somalia ( flag of greater Somalia on our own term Somaliweyn ) in addition to a code of arms with a leopard or Cheetah as the symbol.

One can find the original 1936 flag designed by the itlians in this book.

This is the book where the Italians have the story of the origin of the Somali flag and it was written 1939 almost 2 decades before the bogus Daarood story of inventing the Somali flag in Oct 1954.

Let see what the delusional Dr Yalaxo and his Daarood master say now.

Now for once and all could the somalilander community dig this simple fact and prorogated it to the mass and stop the mafrish story of hebel daarood Cawaale inventing anything in 1954.
