^ I can tell you that's 100% bullshit. USC never fought Darood, it had many Darood with in its ranks like cawrmale, Ogaadeen, Bartire and many more.
USC were welcomed in Kismaayo with open hands. Not 1 bullet was fired during the capture of the city. USC established a local administration formed after meeting with clan elders of the city. Many people returned to the city from the outskirts and life in the city was back to normal.
