The Ajuran currency is not the oldest in Africa and the picture you provided isn't even the coinage used. Ajuran coins were bronze, that picture above is what they imported from Europe into the country.

We had are own coins but the picture you posted is not our own. The Ajuran Sultanate had many trading countries, the Venetian empire being one of them Those are from the Venetian empire that we imported and the text makes it blatantly obvious. Also, a picture of Saint Mark on a coin, and Somali? Lol :lol: .
So no those coins are not Somali, a simple Google image check can show you the source.
