I don't understand why you guys are so shocked, even though it doesn't happen a lot in our society (Thank God)..We have the odd cases. As Mowake mentioned, In Australia some guy tried to stap his ex-wife infront of his kids because supposedly she was about to re-marry to a non-Somali and he was upset about that. And there was this other well known Family where the husband killed his wife of many years for money infront of his own daughter. So waxaa waa calaf, regardless of who you marry, he/she could turn out to be your malaka muut.

I don't agree with Michael using such kind of terminology, I strongly reject such stupid racist language. After all, that is what racist white people call us, just to demean us and destroy us emotionally. How can we call others such despicable names is beyond by realm of understanding.

The term adoon isn't a negative word nor positive, Matter of fact we're all adoons, Allah's [swt] adoons, I think we can all assent with that.
