less sickly than the first months, they are in their best shape (phisically+ emotionally). Also contraction may occur during her last month, most doctor's advise couples to have sex, couz that increase the chance to have normal childbirth. I know it sound dangerous, but the baby is well protected, she might have few pains, and that couz the baby's head is in the pelvis, no harms what so ever.

True fact. And i'm speaking from experience here.

looooooooooooooool, i'm sorry but that' s just bull. I have 2 friends who have gone through pregnancy and I can assure you they def weren' t in the mood for it at all. My mother is a gynacologist with experience in midwifery and she wouldn' t advise any of her patients to "do it" to insure normal child birth. That advise would only be given to women who are just about or over 2 weeks overdue.

you can't make a blanket statement like that. Pregnancy does in fact enhance some women's libido, while it hinder's others. Different women react differently. But I agree with "she wouldn' t advise any of her patients to "do it" to insure normal child birth." With emphasis on "normal." But if sex can't influence the chance of the child being born, why recommend for someone 2 weeks overdue??

My friend just got married, five months ago. Her husband is stationed to an abroad job. She is pregnant but she missed him so much to the extent that she can't sleep without holding one of his shirts..so she can smell him.
My question is, can someone be so obsessed to anther human being like that? She almost cries every night. Can any one explain? Is she acting? My friend was a very sweet girl, never lied to me or to anyone else but now I honestly do not understand. This is an honest question. I do not know what to do. Should I feel sorry for her and support her or should I be skeptical incase she is acting
As I said before she never lied before but this seems abnormal

that is absolutely the cruelest thing!!

It is recommended for women who are overdue due to that fact that after those 2 weeks the uterus rapidly declines in size which gives the foetus little space to swim around. In extreem cases it can cause problems in his/her brain. The umbilical cord will also loses it' s function. Some women prefer not to get induced because it' s ALOT more painful than giving birth by natural means. Thus it is advised if the baby is 8 to 10 days overdue to have intercourse usually this triggers the water to break and the back pains to start basicly the whole nine yards
Micheal, many here were implying that this woman was horny when she really didn' t show any signs that she was as far as Kambuli informed us. It' s rather blunt to come out with that conclusion when it' s a known fact that women go through a rollercoaster of emotions and pressumely with her being at a fairly early stage of her pregnancy it' s unlikely that her libido increased this usually happens when women are halfway through pregnancy. Again this differs from woman to woman.

Edit: to correct the horrible typo's

Excellent points both, which is why even a week before schedule, sex can induce labour.
And I was a little perplexed myself at the fact they were implying "she was horny." With the crying fits, it obviously implied more than "horniness." But I just dismissed it as Snet craziness. Myself, I raised the issue of libido because soon after fertilization, rapid hormone changes take place, particularly if it's her first, and libido can rapidly increase. Resulting in, as you termed it, the "rollercoaster" effect.

Trust me it's true, Im not saying they all have sex appetite, but most of them are. They can also change from "loving it" to none( 0 sex) at the end of the pregnancy or the other way around, due to the hormone changes. Same woman can have 2,4, or five kids and still have different pregnancy behaviour for all of them.
