Is this out of regional prejudice or what??? in how many plays was these Kuukus and Koobos were featured? few and they never had long lines i remember Aw Kuuke as a little short Jareer clown who run around during intermissions accompanied with drums and funny music thats about it.
Real legends are:
Boon Xirsi Bawdyogaab from the old time
now
Cabdi Heybe
I also liked the Ciise Dude the late Miicaad Miigane and Dacar as Muruqoos in Beenay waa Run.

Dhaga, you forgot the one song ina haybe sings in frustration, when the girl he's tryin' to get with rejects him because he operates a little tea shop on the street.
"bartaan is taagay ayey ka baydhay, shaahan bigeeyey ay
ey ka booday...ma kildhigaan kala jabshaa, ila taliya dadyahow"
sh!t is funny as hell

This is something Somalis will never agree on who is da best.
Qaldaan doesn't understand Maki, Aw Kombe and Awkuku dialects to appreciate
and the South will never appreciate whatever the Qaldan comedian says, just because they can't relate to, even if they understand what the heck he is talking about, so let's agree that each has their own favorite comedians without imposing their hilarity on others.
For me it's Maki Xaaji Banadir

How would a Marxeen native of Caabud waaq would understand the dilacet of a Bantu like Aw Kuuke or Koombe? or any other Maxaa Tiri Somali???
Mureedi 99% of Somalis understand Waqooyi dialect and visa versa all the way to Muqdisho, the trouble comes into surface when your Cad Cad or Jareer speaks something he thinks its Somali which isn't at all and expect Evey person to understand his gibberish, and even laughed at it

Xplaya
The problem with you Qaldaanos is, you think of yourselves as the only authentic Somalis that exist, but let me give you a dose of reality, we Cadcad, think we are the THE authentic Somalis and your "Gibbersish" doesn't hold water in da area I come from. See the irony here? Nin walbo qumanihiisa aa qoorta oogu jiro, let's keep it that way, cause yopu can't take the Somalinimo from me and likewise, I can't take it from you. Let's deal with it the way it is.
Haybe so and so can not make me laugh even if he talks about his mamma's hole

if you cannot appreciate Awkuku, Maki and Awkombe than you sure are not from Mogadishu..... Iam not surprised with you guyz tho... all the somali guyz whom I know say they are from Mogadishu, and you see they are lying yeah because they have never even transited in mogadishu let alone lived there... one guy said to me.. I took a train from mogadishu to Kenyan markii laqaxaayey nooh... I was laughing to death.. you guyz are all the same...
the course is settle, those who appreciate awkuku and awkombe are born and bred in Mogadishu, those who arent were born in Caabuudwaaq and all other places with funny names..... Fu@k off you non-mogadishu-folks...
