If I was you, I wouldn't so blithely dismiss the threat posed by your own (Sland's) towelheads. Especially now that Southern Wadaads hold some sway.

Unpredictable times ahead for everyone.[/quote]

The differance between you and me is that unlike you i dont find the prospect of living under the shareeca disturbing, like most somalilanders.

wanlaweyne was a small village in the south that
allegedly cast more votes than the entire north during the 1961 referendrum.

It became synonymous with southern, conivance and corruption
it became our name for the southerners.

not even close (the portuguesse mix aren't big enuff to get a name!)... Wallaweyn is a term for Somalis who're for unity. I don't know what Gurey is on about tho!

Actually, I am. I've been told, by more than one Northerner, that Wallaweyn was a term hung on Southerners of Arab/Portuguese extract. But Gurey clarified.

A/Wahab

Let them turn my old arse into holy fish meat if i ever go anywhere near Burao. Why would anyone in the right mind go to Burao for? 60 years ago Feysal Ali Mushteek had a good nite of drinking and merry-making but in the morning half the market women and their red-toothed urchins attacked him for being a little tipsy.

"It is a place where merry man is made into a fool

May condemnations be on it..how I hate Burao so"

Galol... good point. I guess we agree that the Akhwaan Muslimiin thing is a national ideology beyond qabiil and state.

I recently came to blows with a cousin of mine who was praising the ICU right after the battle of AbdiQeybdiid. He kept on cursing the General and those who fought with him. He praised the "Jihaad". It stunned me that he would go that far to "Jihaad" on our fellow kinsmen.

Galol

I have lost all respect for you. I mean how can you degrade a whole qabil based on the actions of a few? Rolling Eyes
