Prag, Get in the loop! At least I knew what Mooryaan was but I always mixed the Iidoor and Dooro couldn't remember which is which. I understood Dooro is chicken but Iidoor? I still don't know what it means..

Yeah and the Ilka jeex or dhabz or lan dheer...etc these are all terms I'm trying to connect to their respect qabiils. The things I learned here.

Could laan dheer be the opposite of laan gaab? Laan gaab refers to a qabiil with few members or a short lineage.

I knew what mooryaan was, but I thought it was a generic term meaning hoodlum Laughing

Too bad we don't have objective historians documenting it as we speak.

I thought the words mooryaan and faqash originated about the same time. Faqash refering specifically to the kuufi guduud oo Siad Bare who killed poeple and the mooryans their counterparts from the USC. But now I guess it became generic terms for whole Darood and Hawiye.
