Soomaali waa Soomaali and thats that. Laakin waa edeb daro inuu gaal xumi qof soomaali ah oo dhintay wax ka sheego. Inuu isku kaaya diro ayuu rabaa shaydaanka futada caddi.
I hear ya. But answer me this. Sincerely. Was the term "Afweyne" origianlly intended as an insult, or was it a nickname to describe his tendency to talk a lot?
Thats irrelevant. What matters is how it is percieved by Somalis (for instance those on Somalinet). And I know for a fact that you were aware of how and why it is used by certain people when insulting the late president and his clan.

Fock this shit, this aint about no TFG. Its about you repeatedly disrespecting certain people from a certain clan to impress others.

Bullshit, dude. Straight up! And you KNOW it! If he was Isaaq, and his nik was Futoweyne" then id call him that. Same as i'd refer to ANY world leader.

Dhuuso is right...leaders are somewhat a fair game in being targeted by angry, hateful and others with personal agenda to bad mouth them or even those who are objective in writing their histories.
Just like many disagree on Sayid Mohamed, so will many on Siad Barre...etc etc
But Mike is doing this as a proxy for others I am afraid...becuase he wouldnt know the sensitivty involved for insulting some one's hero just like a somali would...so suspicion here..suspicion
