A name change for Somaliland

Sxb we need to cut the Somali part from the Somaliland. You can keep the land part if you want.

We can even change the Somali language by turning every Somali word back-to-front like "Iska waran" would become "Aksi Naraw" Laughing

So far nothing better than SOO-LIS-LAND

Na I dont agree with Changing the somali language, But we could Change the name Somaliland to something else like Djibouti did......

There is nothing wrong with the name Somaliland. And there can be two Somali countries just like there are two Congos. I actually think changing the name will not be a good idea since people see that as part of their identity. Somalileen is Somalileen, I don't think the name is a problem ....the problem is far bigger than that.

The old historic names for Somaliland were Ifat state and Adal Empire both extending from Zeila to the shores of Heis&Maid and to South to Harar city.

Other candidates could include:

Golisland
Hawdland
Red Sea Republic
Horn Of Africa Republic
