There is no change in tone, you are not paying attention.

It costs us almost nothing to make sure that Somalia remains a basket case. The US is not going to allow an Islamic regime to take over there. It is childs play forus to topple any such government in its infancy. Isn't that obvious by now. In todays political climate, with Muslims world wide trying to challenge US hegemony, there is no way such a government will be allowed to establish itself. Remember, we don't need to put anything in place, we just have to prevent the Islamists from doing so.

Ditto for IRaq and Afghanistan. If they remain war torn basket cases, we win.

The Muslims spend all of their time and energy killing each other. I like it. The Sunnis send their youth to die there, the Shi'ites send their youth to die there, and we are forgotten about. It's beautiful.

any increase of violence in Afghanistan or Iraq is never good for the U.S and it doesnt make then winner, infact in makes them the Losers. Going into these countries with the intention of "bringing Peace" and ending out in violence, doesnt shout out WINNERS.

Who made the Americans the "White Knights"? Iraq is a tragedy brought by YOUR OWN SWORDS. You Invaded, executed the President, and caused civil unrested among different ethnic groups and religious secs. Now civil War will break out destabilizing the entire region. Now they expect Iran and Syria to put there hands in the sh-t they created.

We never went to Afghanistan to "bring peace". We went there to destroy Al Qaeda operational bases.

We did not go into Iraq for reasons of peace or justice. We went into Iraq to remove Saddam, because he was annoying.
