No Angst

You turned the tables on me sis. But i think I posed the question first.

And I am more than happy to answer your questions.

But not right now.

As for clannish support for Cabdilaahi, yes maybe there is an element of that. But then again if I see people like Ina Baxar espousing hatred for CY without any reason, I am likely to circle the wagons and support my cousin.

That is why I laid down the gauntlet to all of you CY haters. Convince me that this guy is no good. I will try my best to defuse your arguments but if you win and give a clear cut case against CY, I will oppose with all my might(such as it is).

Btw, If CY dies tonight and Geeddi becomes president he has my complete support. Just as much as CY has it.

Cilmiile,

Are you not a believer in Yey as the rightful president of Somalia? I'm not! I have my reasons but they don't really matter. I don't really need to have a reasons to dislike Yey (he's no body in my books), I'm afterall a nay-sayer. Instead, Yey and his proponents have to supply the reasons for why I should support him. You're the politician here and I'm the voter. It's encumbent upon you to make a pitch for why I should support you or Yey in this case. To get you down the right path, I asked you to list 5 positive initiatives he undertook since 2004 until the rise of ICU that benefited the Somali people (I know there are none). Rather than be plainspoken and answer my question, you waffled. Fine, nothing new really. All you Yey supporters seem to argue from faith or blind clan loyalty. In the meantime, the Xabash are having the time of their lifes by pitting one somali against another in our national capital.

Hadalka la tuut tuuro waan ku hadaaraa...

What makes you think I was talking about you?

"Layligu biyaa uurkiisuu ka didaa"

You're not the first person who said kaalaya noo taliya…..like we are power hungry creatures to dominant people. I think that is very insulting.

How can Britain recognize the region when it never considered its legal independence but kept it as mere Protectorate. Several major tribes signed the treaty of this protectorate. Before Italian Somaliland was to be given independence for which the UN Trusteeship prepared and accelerated state building and development process for 10 years, the northern protectorate beseeched to be given its independence only to join southern Somaliland. Otherwise, it would have been delayed, but in fact, Britain had never had interest in morphing the Northern Protectorate into an independent state. It was possibly determined in giving it up or seceding it to Ethiopia. Good example is the speech of Winston Churchil and his proposal to abandon the protectorate altogether in 1915 to breakeven the losses he sustained from the Dervish onslaughts. Still, the colonists left the capital of Hargeisa without electricty and running water.

Ina Baxar

Gimme a break man. I gotta take time off the computer to cook my grub.

No Angst

At this moment in time, CY has all the support he needs. Not just from me. He couldnt care about my support. More important, he has the support of the international community and he is not suffering any bad publicity. It is you who needs to make friends and influence people. In short, to erode his international support and focus the ire of the international press and humanitarian agencies on his alleged misconduct. Sort of like the world is giving the Sudanese a hard time over Darfur.

But for that to happen you guys have to stop burning corpses and bring real evidence of contemporary and historical malfeasance and brutality on the part of CY.

Free advice.

Tony Blair will soon be out of office. His position and that of any politician is changeable, depending on the political enviornment. Somaliland is in a better shape than it ever had. Soon you will hear the good news Laughing

You recently signed a petition asking the Prime Minister to
"Recognise Somaliland as a sovereign state."

The Prime Minister's Office has responded to that petition and
you can view it here:

Dowladda Britain oo qaadacday inay aqoonsato Jamhuuriyada isku magacowday Somaliland.

London , Jimco, March 23, 2007 Simba Radio

Dowladda Britain ayaa ku gacan seertay codsi ku saabsan in Jamhuuriyadda iskeed isku magacowday ee Somaliland ay u aqoonsato dal madax banaan.

Boqolaal qof ayaa saxiixay codsi ku saabsan in Somaliland loo aqoonsado dal madax banaan.

Codsiga oo loo gudbiyay Ra'iisul Wasaaraha Britain Tony Blair ayaa lagu gacan seeray, taasi oo natiijadii ka dhalatay ay noqotay niyad jab baahsan oo soo wajahay Somaliland .

Sida dal kasta oo caalamka ka jiraba taariikhda uu usoo maray ayaa Somaliland waxaa asiibay dhibaatooyin sii kordhaya, ayada oo dalkuna uu yahay mid soo hana qaadaya.

Iminka waxaa jira weriyayaal u shaqeeya Jaraa'id oo xabsi ku jira. Kooxo dhowr ah oo ay ku jirto Amnesty International ayaa weriyayaashaasi u arka maxaabiis si qaldan ku xiran.

Xoriyadda Warbaahinta ayaa ah xuquuqda aasaasiga ah ee dal kasta oo caalamka ka jira.

Xal deg deg ah oo Somaliland ay u hesho dhibaatadan waxa ay ka caawin kartaa in quwadaha waa weyn ay u aqoonsadaan dal sharci ah oo madax banaan.

Reer Somaliland waxa ay u shaqeynayeen sida dad heysta dal madax banaan oo kale in ka badan toban sanno.

Laakiin isaga oo ka jawaabaya codsiga ayaa Ra'iisul Wasaaraha Britain Tony Blair, waxa uu sheegay in Dowladda Britain aysan Somaliland u aqoonsaneyn dal madax banaanasida dalalka ee Beesha Caalamkaba.

Britain waxa ay saxiixday mowqif guud oo ay qaateen dalalka Midowga Yurub iyo iyo bayaano madaxeed badan oo ka soo baxay Golaha Ammaanka ee Jamciyadda Qurumaha ka dhaxeysa, kuwaasi oo lagu aqoonsaday xuduudaha iyo midnimada Somalia, sida uu sheegay Blair.

"Siyaasadeeda waxa ay in muddo ah ahayd in dadka Soomaaliyeed ay go'aan ka gaaraan xiriirada mustaqbalka iyo in deriskooda iyo dalalka Africa ay qaataan hogaanka aqoonsiga ee qorshayaal kasta oo cusubo oo kusoo baxa wada hadal" ayuu yiri Blair.

Blair ayaa sheegay in Dowladda Britain ay ku boorineyso Somaliland iyo Dowladda KMG ah ee Somalia ay yeeshaan wada hadallo, sidaa darteedna xalwaara ay gaaraan oo ku saabsan xiriirka mustaqbalkooda ay isku raacaan.

Ugu dambeyntii waxuu sheegay inay Ururka Midowga Afrika ku boorinayaan inuu sahmiyo arrinta, isaga oo la kaashanaya qeybaha kale iyo kuwa wadaaga la ah ee muhimka ah, kuna yaala gobolka.
