1 in 4 of our children die before they reach the age of 5. Mother mortality is among the worst in the world. Life is expectancy is in mid 40s, again the worst in the world. Our people have the HIGHEST (along with Ethiopia I think) malnutrition rates in the world. We are without exaggeration FAO, WFP, UNICEF disaster zone. The country has been on the severe food insecurity list for the past 20 plus years. The last thing it needs is more insecurity and war. There's no instance in the world history where prolonged war benefited any country. And yet Somalis in the diaspora are hankering for war and bloodshed. Sometimes I wonder if God bypassed us when He was allocating common-sense.

I blame the ICU for the current mess. They knew the type of men making up the TFG. They knew C/yuusuf and Geedi wouldn't hesitate for a moment to request Xabashi assistance.
