Yeah, i believe Bari is gonna carry the day, but i want to see something other than what i know will happen, the x-factor is gonna make alot niggas breathing backwards and remembering what they ate for dinner the night before. i want to see banaadir flag planted in Garowe, for all the spectators to be amazed, sorry, and bewildered, it will give the reer banaadir that have lived in dormant captivity a hope for a better future, and might appoint as members of golaha xamar the victors of this event, if it ever materializes. sxb look at the big picture, what will Garowe gain if it wins, more peace

According to reports posted at Garowe online, the football tournament is being jointly organized by the Somali Football Federation, the Somali Olympic Committee and the Puntland government, which administers the stable northeastern Somalia regions.
On Tuesday, teams representing Nugaal (Garowe) and Banadir (Mogadishu) regions competed in the semi-final of the tournament with the match ending in 1-1 draw at normal time. An extra period of 20 minutes was added and no team scored, leading to penalties in which the Banadir team won 5-4.
On Wednesday, teams representing Lower Jubba and Bari regions competed in the second semi-final. Bari (Bossaso) team scored 3 goals in the first half, while the Lower Jubba (Kismayo) team scored one goal in the second half.
Fans have expressed their joy to watch the tournament final that is scheduled to be played tomorrow between Banadir and Bari, representing Mogadishu and Bossaso, respectively at Mire Aware Stadium in Garowe, the capital of the Puntland State of Somalia.
This is the first competitive football tournament to be played in the war-torn country in the last 32 years.

Plandgirl, look at this this way:
Puntland hosted the games and our long neglected capital took the cup! Win win situaion. Besides most Puntlanders are connected to Mogadishu and it was one of their other choices. It is also a very good marketing tool for Puntland if it wants to continue hosting the games. Had Bari won today, rumors of bribery, corruption, etc would be flying now. People on this forum were already saying Banadir will be bribed. Somali peopl cannot be satisfied.
