Cilmiile,
So you turned on Marexaan when Afgaduud was exiled from Kismayo?
Here's the strategy: Kismayo is in Marexaan's sphere of influence just like Bossasso is in Majerteen's sphere of influence. It's in the interests of Darood to have it that way.
C/Y wanted to destroy Hawiye forces so they would never create a contentious environment for the Harti domination in Kismayo and then Marexaan would be target # 2. C/Y naively thought that we would sit around and wait for that. The sneaky politician is being checked at every corner.
Suffice it to say, everything has been playing out with those circumstances in mind and that's why you see a lot of unexplainable things. With all details abstracted, this is the main power strategy and C/Y is running out of cards.
Divide 'n conquer might have worked in Xamar, but it will only solidify Marexaan's influence in the Jubbas. And if you want to blame anybody you can all those years of hard work by the SSDF to precipitate a civil war in Somalia. Wars in general change status quos and a lasting legacy of the civil war was that Marexaan influence in the Jubbas was solidifed.
Dont be paranoid my friend. I didnt turn on anyone. DS insulted me by calling me gaal. And I reminded him that I am more devout than his greatest hero. By a country mile.
Btw, The Mareexaan elder also complained that even Siyaad himself deferred to the Majeerteen and gave them more positions in his cabinets than any other Daarood tribe.
The question is, how are Sade going to eradicate this received wisdom that they are somehow a small subclan of daarood?
