Somali bantus have some of the best educated Somali people. They're also down to earth and although some have a lot of cuqdad they're mostly better than other Somalis from the arid regions. They're definitely more hardworking than most Somalis.

To be honest people used to treat them like second class citizens and the few that got good opportunities only got them because Siyad Barre was not threatened by minorities. You could be friends with them, employ them but it was like no to marrying them.

I only know of two Somali woman who married people from bahda jareerweeyn, one of them was Xawaadle the other one I think was abgaal. My aunt's ex husband was half jareer half midgaan.... waa iska calaf

My parents would do the same thing to me too, especially my dad....he is so racists, he calls them adoon.

Similar thing happened to my aunt but I liked her ex he was so kind and used to do everything for her. He was well educated as well. Walaahi I was sad when they got divorced. Hope they get back together.

I'll think about it. I only know of half Ghanaian half Somali guys in London not Somali Bantus. Maybe I'll drop my fiance if I find a better one.

Dowlo, I believe you.....my theory is, the more oppressed people are, the worse they behave when put in a position of power. They carry the psychological damage with them and inflict it on other poor people. So, the question is....what damage was inflicted on the sade to make them so horrid?
