Imam Samaroon Said 1432 AD when the Amhara cruseaders conquered Somali, Iman Said was the muslim leader who led the Madanluug Dir and when the imam was later fighting in the Westren flank of the Guurey army he was injured at dardarley.

The book does mention sheikh samaroon and what brother subclans of gudabursi are u talking about. there was three samaroon clans and there is still three sub clans of samaroon and yes we are Dir and are descendants from him as it is said Dir was the first somali to land in Zeila and the tomb of sheik samaroon still exsists.
