Look, I hate what these madow kids do in the projects around here and how going to the city of DC is a third world country in itself. But there are 12 million AAs of which a sizable number share something precious with us and they maaaaaaaaay just be decent people.

I used to think like you, walahi. BUT IT IS JUST NOT RIGHT. The half-Somali, half-Black kids I have been meeting lately don't have their Somali fathers in their lives because they are dead and/or elsewhere due to divorce walahi. But their mothers, who are black and MUSLIM has PROBABLY had some effect on them. I do not agree with Somalis mixing with madows, because it is WRONG. And the ones that do have children with Somalis were probably out of mistake and they are not even Muslim. Why make the children suffer? Blacks will not accept them, and Somalis will not accept them.

You're taking the most sadly common, extreme and wrong case of madows and somalis engaging in premarital intercourse and having illegitimate children. I do not advocate that nor have I ever advocated that.

I am also uneasy about Somali dudes marrying Christian madows because that creates a confusing environment and its not compatible.

Well when that day comes ill think about it but somehow i just dont see myself marrying a somali gurl. i dont even know to freaking talk to em. almost all my g/f have been white except one who was Indian. though even if i did marry a white person i wouldnt be the first in the family. 8)

I consider myself a black, African/Somali person ..why would I envy other blacks is beyond my imagination.

I can see some African Americans being a little upset about the Muslim thing but I don’t see any of us getting upset about one of our kin being half Somali because

a) Most of us don’t even know what a Somali is. We would probably think the guy was just another red bone with good hair.

b) We would be happy they were black period.

c) Some African Americans would be happy to say that one of their kin is from Africa.
