The Maakhir map is beyond flawed as a clan entity, Karin Turwa is a Warsangeli town as is the lands 10 km east of Mayd and 20km south of Xeis.
Galweyta, Findhe, Waqdaria, Korolehe and Birhamar is a stone throw away from Mayd which is resident to nearly 10 houses no more then 100 people. Also Midisho is under our clan authority which is aukward that you have used certain towns as points of references to draw your map.
The Dhulbhante are is only 3 towns south, east and west of these towns are completely '''our'' clan territories.
James I will forward you a list of towns we surrond in enclaves of Dhulo/Issaq towns in the middle of our territory which is surronded by mountains.
There are 3 towns Dhulbhante used to occupy respectively and 3 towns Isaaq occupy respectively within the former Sanaag besides Erigavo.
There are Habar Yonis vilages on the coast near Las Qoray as well as Warsangeli villages near Xais and Mait.
It is a difficult situation to represent, and one that is somewhat unclear. Depicting the situation accurately may require drawing in exclaves for things like Geilwiete.
Also, keep in mind that the map is of the Maakhir Authority. There are a number of Warsangeli who live in Puntland or Somaliland or even the Juba Valley, but few people would argue that Kismayo and Bosaso are part of Maakhir. There are villages in Somaliland where despite the whole town being Warsangeli, the Maakhir authority has either great difficulty or cannot exercise authority there. Just the same the Issaq villages are cut off from Hargeisa and the Maakhir authority has more influence, despite the whole town being Isaaq.
Somaliland has had 17 years to build up their administrative power in Sanaag, don't forget. It will take time for Maakhir to be able to flex its muscles enough to have authority as far as Geilweite, and Maakhir isn't even a year old yet.

Quiet false Isaaq (HA/HY/HJ ect) have zero villages near LQ. Their are no fishing grounds or lands in and around west LQ that would be consider Isaaq inhabitated. Its barren and mountains the very reason Isaaqs have not been able to come close to any regions within the former Ceerigabo district except for Ceerigabo city during the 90s where they had an upper hand against the civilians with their organized militia (SNM). All lands besides 3 towns is exclusively Warsangeli, which no one can contest and is a reality on ground.
True Maakhir is not a year old but with organized clan militias it will prove to be a success within the former Sanaag and expand into territories our clans have little presence in but will be a success.
neocon_2007 if maakhir state says what it is, well why not, every qabiil has its onw region/state why not warsangalis (that is the qabiil of maakhir right?) i think every qabiil should have its own state, or region call it what you like, and then join to make united state of somalis. like DUBAI UAOE is eight small states/islands joined to make UAOE, SOMALIA should have the same
Thats the fate of the North eventhough it wouldnt be so if their were a functioning Somali government. I'm for clans states as long as they deliever and focus on their own regions and don't undermind neigboring communities so they can recieve more financial aid for themselves.
