Our pigeons weren't halaal, no bismilaah or last rites were they given, a simple twist of the neck and they were done and out, mind you some pigeons were easier to catch than others (the ones we called rumaani and bunni were very elusive) but it all added to the thrill of the chase...I'm streching this thing to just about its limit but you get the picture

Be married to a pretty wife or not, the single thing that can secure a man from hitting the next ass that trips before him is the fear of Allah (swt) and how much he realizes the outcome of committing such act, not anything else will prevent him from hitting an straightforward ass. The strong self-controlled one of us will give in or to a certain extent do so in the end.

One time I was reading either Ghazali or Jaylani's works and he was talking about how Allah divided the qualities and blessing among people.

He mentioned the guy who is very intelligent/wise but yet is complained/shocked when he sees an imbecile get wealth that he feels ENTITLED to b/c of his intelligence.

So he asks (I'm paraphrasing): "Does that person expect that by virtue of him receiving a blessing from God which is intelligence/wisdom that he is entitled to also have wealth. So is it fair for him to have both blessings while others have none? "

That is at the heart of the matter. Some ugly girls have qualities that pretty girls don't. So why are those pretty girls feeling so entitled that they can't even fathom an ugly girl getting a man.

Do these pretty chicks want to be the arbiter of God's blessings.
