You're the only person who thinks Dir is bigger then Digil y Mirifle. I think Eelaay is as big as Dir by themselves.

Biimaal came to Marka in the 17 CENTURY so they didn't found it but did take control of it. I don't know how they became a regional power when Marka is the only place they ever controlled.

Historically Biimaal were the 2nd strongest power in the region after the Geledi Sultunate but saying that Dir is bigger then Digil y Mirifle or that Shabelle Hoose is Dir land when only Biimaal who are now small in number live there is ludicrouse my friend.

Shabeelada hoose belongs to Tuuni, cadcad, Jareer. All you guys are invaders and those people will be liberated soon.

Tuni is Digil. Geledi is Digil and Shabelle Hoose is Digil land. Jareer were mostly brought in a slave trade and were bought by Digil clans mainly Geledi. Cadcad came much later.

Biimaal own Marka and thats about it.

Geledi Sultunate was ruled AFGOOYE and Biyomaal Sultunate in Marka that is clear.... Digil y Mirifle are just maskiin saab people you can compare with noble Dir people ... Power in Somalia are divided not only how many EELAAY OR TUNNI are live there but instead who are really on the power..

here is how is work:-

- Somaliland Isaaq is the power (there are also other clans live there like Gadabiirsi)
- Puntland Majerteen is the power
- Galmudug land Habargidir is the power
- Hiiraanland Hawadle is the power
- Muduloodland (From Ceel dheer to Xamar) Abgaal is the power
- Dirland (From Marka to Jamaame) Dir is the power (there are handful of Eelaay and few Digil)
- Jubbaland I am not sure Marixaan, Galjacel or who is the power

Gaaljecel are not even in the xisaab. Its Marexaan, Absame, Harti and then Bajuni, Gaaljecel, etc. are some guys who live in a tuulo here or there, or in the Bajuni islands.

The Geledi Sultunate at his height controlled the entire southern Somalia even Marka.

Marka is shared with a big Jiddo population and Tuni own Brava. You're getting delusional man. Dir only live in Marka and the rest is Digil.

The only region that Dir can say they are the most in is Awdal and that region is tiny.

Does calling Dir a noble tribe make you feel better and more important?

As for Dir land u must be joking if u honestly belive it only Awdal which only two Dir clan reside. Somali Galbeed, Djbouti. Puntland and almost every single region in Somalia has a population of Dir while on the other hand u basically are a pure southerner tribe.

I didn't say that they only reside in Awdal I said Awdal is the only region they are the most in, as in the biggest clan in that region (I ain't counting Djbouti).

What does tracing you're lineage to one man have to do with being large?

Digil y Mirifle is larger then Dir. I think Rahanweyn by itself is bigger then Dir.

It means Rahanweyn or Digil and Mirifle arent really a clan who are related because u guyz are a federation who in order to counter the other biggers tribes joined in a federation to help out each other while on the hand Dir are related by Blood just as Hawiya and Darood are. The difference between us and Digil Mirifle is you guyz tend to adopt any clan while we dont.

The clan lines were drawn centuries ago. Its not changing anytime. Its not our fault you guys decided to leave you're deserts in the north and move south.

Darood say there's no father Hawiye.
People say Isaaq is Dir
Isaaq say theirs a father Isaaq who came from Arabia
