Cali Barre are contesting the Mayorship in Caynabo these days. Historically it has always been Mayor= reer Yonis and Ku Xigeenka = Cali Barre laakiin these days Cali Barre of east Caynabo want the Mayorship with the support of Biciide. Because in Caynabo out of all places you will often hear the name Barre Adraxman to oppose the Yonis Adraxmaan unit. As soon as you get out of Caynabo its Guuleed Cali (Cali Barre) and baho (Biciide) and reer Barre (reer Yonis), i.e. qof walba jufadiisii hoose ayuu lasoo baxayaa. Very funny people there walahi :D
But yeah, people in the past have been lobbying for Caynabo to be its own region. It controls vast lands and many many villages come under it.

Ben: how about the Cumar Jibril they are quite Big in Caynabo and its surrounding villages?
One thing that surprised me most, was when i heard Biciide lives in Caynabo and all the way Near Yeyle lol wallahi i was like WHAT?

Cumar Jibril dadka haw mawlin. They are quite large as a clan. They live everywhere in Sool in Caynaba, Ceeldhaab, Oog and other places. I like them because they have no beef with any Isaaqs.
Biciide are always in a state of Marqaan. One day a city or a village baa laqurux badnaanaysa, next day you will find some of them there :D Believe it or not they have a sizable presence in Caynabo, Oog, Yagoori and surrounding.

i was also surprised when the Somaliland and Puntland war broke out in 2004, 15 HJ got captured and 10 of them were Biciide alone lol

Unfortunately all lands between Erigavo and Burco were Dhulbhante at one point. During the Sayid rampage, Wareer the bulk (majority) of the former Sanaag is Warsangeli, Maakhir is nearly exclusively Warsangeli with the minority, Isaaq and Dhulbhante.
