Since when Abgaal started looking like Indians? Abgaals have the looks of Bantus because of their intermarraiges of with Bantus.
The American system of higher education is the envy of the world.
I came across this article a days ago.
"The American system of higher education, long the envy of the world, is becoming an important export as more universities take their programs overseas."

My experience ended two years ago. Thank God I didn't start as a Freshman, neither lived on campus. Two things you should never do in American colleges. I graduated with Honor.
Abgaals actually look alot more like Kenyans! I for one can't tell an Abgaal from a Kenyan.

Re: College/University Experience: How is/was yours
First semester i was clueless. I though i could get away with 18 credits but i learned the hard way, also being under 18 didnt help when almost everyone can do lots of things i couldnt do.
Now its a whole lot different. I have learned my wayz around campus and made couple of friends. Also have a G/F on campus helps. I think am still trying to get used to this whole freedom where teachers dont ask for ur homework and being so independant. My school is only 20 minttes away from home with no traffic but usually with infamous ATL traffic it can take upto 45 to an hour. I could stay in a dorm but i have working parents and a grandmother at home and decided its best for me to stick home as sometimes like right now when my grandma is gone i have to babysit my younger sisters. I finally have a part-time job now and usually have some extra cash to spend that i have finally earned on my own and it feels good. Also within a 5 radius of my school is basically 5 schools so i get to see some of the most intelligent and weirdest people on the planet. So far college is fun and am looking forward for another 3 years.

Razzberry,
Yep, there is more to college than being a bookworm. Some of the relationships you develop outside the class are just as important. At the end of the day, having a 3.8 GPA will not get you the perfect job.

Re: College/University Experience: How is/was yours
Uni years flew by, i graduated in 2007. I studied 9-4 and worked 5-9 and also weekends. As for the 'experience', well i worked too much and never partied. My idea of fun was chillian with the islamic society boys. I guess i was better off this way, finished uni with no debt (10k surplus), unlike my classmates who graduated with a 30 k debt. Also my grades were very good and bagged a decent job at the end of it all. alhamdulilah
