You guys are capable of affection yes, but true love ? HELL NO-O-O-O!!!

Thankyou!!! You have hit the nail on the head.
... based on countless personal observations, experiences and anecdotes here in Nairobi and confirmed by the hundreds of posts on SNET I am compelled to ask- do you guys actually LIKE women??
I have always observed similar patterns: a catalogue of extreme emotions, each more nagative than the last including acute anxiety, frustration, confusion, envy and feelings of rejection and fear predominate. With non-Somali women these emotions are less strong but still present themselves so frequently I wonder why you don't just give up and remain celibate.
The question remains-do you guys actually like women ,generally speaking??
are this a question from a uni essay? either that or ure BORED ...

Qumanyoo the most universal human urge is to settle down and mate. Xalimos having been exposed to other men and have naturally decided on anyone but Abdi.Is it impossible for the latter to discover inner tranquility within himself and thus be able to find a xalimo for life??? Or is he destined to spend his days venting his frustrations on SNET??
Look at the adjectives they use to describe females and tell me if you find it normal? You don't have to be a girl to find it pathological.

Mwaura your whole arguments are baseless there are times when you've made sense here and there but on the whole everything you say is is insignificant simply because your generalizing out of your ass. Most Somali women marry Somali men how are you going to try to convince me otherwise...when all of my female relatives are married to Somali men and mind you we're talking about over 50 women(big family my family is 8)). Furthermore in my whole 21 yrs of exisitance ive only seen/meet a few women who were married to foreigner's and those were white..but even then it was more of a case of two individuals falling in love then a 'anybody but a Abdi' as you like to call it. Finally ill have you know ill stop replying to your topic's if you dont read what I write and simply going to reiterate the same points over and over again. Ooh and do remember we're all individuals here our actions or words don't represent our people just like those few women who calaacal on here dont represent all Somali women.

At 21 you're still very young and here in Kenya your generation is increasingly marrying non-Somali by choice. One of the reasons your boys get so bitter is that their generally unpleasant disposition is not improved by lack of female action. At a college outside Nairobi a few xalimos dared date outside their genepool. Akina Abdi quickly sat them down to set them straight (read c ockblock). They politely listened and now all are dating the addon male college mates. Btw guess who can't find a date?
I also know an Italian,Dane and a Briton married to xalimos, with none of the accompanying angst from the family if the husband were G-A-S-P!!! an addon!

Mwaura please dont lie I have relatives in gariisa and nairobi if a handful of women were to date you guys it is up to them again at the end of the day everybody is an individual and they are only answerable to themselves who and what they sleep or take their bed to is up to them. Again their actions dont speak for every xalimo or every somali..with that in mind remember Somali men arent the gum under your shoes like you try to make us out we have accomplished alot even in your native country the kenyan commissioner of police is SOMALI. You my friend have a problem with us and if it helps you sleep easier Somali women can date/sleep with whoever they want but I doubt its you. I've even heard of some that are prosititutes in Nairobi but I cant judge them whatever ones desperation leads them shouldnt be ridiculed they will answer to Allah one day just like the rest of us but do take out of your mind that Somali men cant get anybody because you only fool you and you alone just goo to london you'll see us abdi's with indian/white/black/arab/mixed race women. But unlike what you think my friend majority prefers to keep it Somali doesnt mean we cant get others but why look elsewhere when our needs are fullfilled by our women.

If you must feel I'm lying its ok. Btw,are'nt you the same who said I'm a girl??When the xalimo is exposed and educated as I indicated in my post you're very rarely her pick. I once asked Kenyan waryaas why they feel alienated in Kenya, with people like Gen. Abdi but could'nt get a coherent answer.

lool

Mwaura first it was all xalimos but now its the exposed and educated xalimo...ill tell you Walahi i know many educated sisters and all want to marry Somali and help their country only a few go elsewhere and again that's a matter of love then anything. But Somali's will feel alienated in Kenya because in the end Mwaura it's not where they are from even me myself I grew up outside my country yet there's an incredible will in me to oneday Inshalla go back and help my people out with everything I've learnt in the west. I never planed on staying in uk my whole life so if i distance myself then its just normal because I really dont want to mix with people who don't share my background.

Oh and yes im the same person who said your prolly a girl and i still stand by what i said...you hold a grudge against the Somali man I dont know why but its not healthy.

We need a wider viewpoint to choose our perspective.Abdi,I'll have you know something about the human landscape in this country called Kenya. MIstrust, paranoia and suspicion is the order of the day between men and women particularly in Nairobi.
Among the latter swindling and shortchanging ,beyond c ockblocking has become the order of the day. They don't even attempt to camouflage and admit it openly., Even foreign men falling for sob stories, coming to rescue Kenyan women(especially Kikuyu women,I'm sorry to say) have lost their life savings to our b itches.
Relevance?? Many of us men are now dating and marrying outside. We have not fixated on hating them at every opportunity, though we have better reason than you guys for imaginative adjetives. Have xalimos done half the s hit Kenyan women have pulled?? Trust me .No because its not in their nature.
