Exactly. Suufis are passive, non-violent and submissive. That's why the West loves and defends them. Throughout the history of Islam, I don't think Suufis ever resorted to jihad or force in order to fight injustice, invasion, occupation, annexation, etc.

Weren't you the same individual who was posting pictures of dead Muslims and calling them my uncles? Now, all of a sudden, you're an expert on Islam and have the audacity to insult Sh. Abdulwahab who was more knowledgeable than you?

Did you ever read his book entitled Kitaab al-Tawheed?
Ok..that wasnt meant for me..but to be honest i read that book and found some troubling things. :? Why do people believe all hadeeths are accurate horta. Only Qur'an is 100% accurate

Impossible. His actions, armed struggle and jihad against the occupiers and collaborators do not qualify him a Suufi. Other Suufis like Uways al-Barawe didn't do a fraction of what he did in terms of armed struggle, so how can he be labeled a Suufi? It's just that back then, terms like Wahhabi, Salafi, Takfiri etc were not popular or invented. Armed struggle and Sufism do not mix, just as water and oil do not mix. Think about this: if the Mad Mullah was alive today, would he be labeled a Suufi or would he be classified alongside leaders of Hamas, ICU, Hezbollah, Taliban and others? There you got the answer.

You guys are just totally missing the point.

The Sufis LED the advance and maintainence of Islam in Africa until the Wahaabis began strangling it.

"Uways al-Baraawe

East African Islamic revival owes much debt to the struggles of the Qadiri leader Shaykh Uways bin Muhammad al-Baraawi. From humble origins and modest upbringing, Shaykh Uways emerged as the most eminent hero of traditional Sufi Islam. A combination of exquisite poetry and active proselytizing garnered him huge influence.

From Barawe, he traveled to Baghdad, the hometown of Abdul Qadir al-Jilani, to the Hejaz, then to Zanzibar and finally met a tragic death at the hands of a rival Sufi brotherhood. His travels and preaching arrived at the perfect time to counter the colonial expansion, puritanical onslaught and encroaching Christian missionaries. This paper will discuss the heroic struggle of Shaykh Uways bin Muhammad al-Baraawe as a true martyr and savior of East African Islam. "

Sayiidka would not recognize the Wahabbis. He and Aweys were both Quadiriya Sufis. Aweys had considerable Islamic scholarship behind him.

Wahaab was a minor sheik from central Arabia who was in the right place to do a favor for the House of Saud when they were on the raise. It is only the oil money and the Saudi Haraamain that has made such a big deal out of shirk. The "Islamic Kingdom" of Saudi Arabia and the destruction of all the historic Islamic sites should give you a clue. Add that to these "Jadiids". It is NOT the Takfiris and Wahaabbis who comprise mainstream Islam.

Why does any of it concern you? You're not a Muslim, Abdulwahab, Jeylaani & Aweys should all mean the same to you, unless you're here trying to further the policies of the West i.e. divide the Muslims by calling some "Moderates" and others "Extremists". 90% of what you write are the same lies xenophobic websites write about Islam, how can you expect anyone to take you serious?
