E.S didnt say anything about Islam, mashaAllah shes never said anything of the sort, its just that some Somalis feel a knee jerk reaction the minute anyone says something about KSA's morality police...as if the diin and them are inseparable...they are human and make mistakes too.
Lets not generalise all Saudis, they arent all homosexuals (I havent read all the posts, just incase the above has been aforementioned). All they need to do is follow Islam, women were granted freedom in Islam, this is Allahs punishment to the whole nation for twisting his perfect diin.
Can you remind me where i mentioned Pragmatic_gal's name?

A lot of people are in denial..they think SaudiArabia is ruled by Islamic Sharia..that it is nearperfect..wonderful place to live in..sure crime is very low..and theres Makkah and Madinah..other than that i can't think of any another positives..what women would go and live there? what man?
Inshallah im going to open another thread..that deals specifically with the Saudi interpretation of Islam..why this obsession with Saudiarabia..u might ask..well this is the land of our Prophet peace be upon him..The Qur'an was revealed here all those hundreds of years ago and it saddens me to see what these Saudis have done to the land of our Prophet peace be upon him and how they continue to spread their brand of Islam all over the world.

There is a flip side to that coin.
There are equaly lots of people who havent got the nerve to say what they want to say or voice their misconceptions about Islam and therefore use Saudi Arabia as an excuse.
Saudi Arabia aint perfect by a long shot but since the government and the people are two different thing, lets not demonize a whole nation under the pretext od critisizing the royal family.
But then again qof Somali ah af uu ku aflagaadeeyo cid kale kuma yaal.

There is no flip side...why can't any one discuss Saudi Arabia without being accused of having ulterior motives?
subhanallah..seems like this is a way to stifle the debate. you talk about misconceptions about Islam..im sorry thats a load of nonsense..why do you talk to me like im sort of nonmuslim horta?
If there is any country thats fuelling that..its none other than Saudiarabia..we can thank it for that.

Am not talking to you like you are not muslim, i just dont seem to understand this obssesion with the Saudi Arabia.
Now why would i be offended from criticizing the royal saudi family?
Am Somali for fock sake and damn proud of it.
Ps...This is a general forum open for all sorts eventhough its a somali site and the Idea of giving kafurs an oportunity to diss Islam is just...well, wa laga fiicanyahay walaal. thats all.

whos giving kuffar the opportunity? Me or Saudi Arabia with its twisted interpretation of our beautiful diin?
ask yourself that
Muslims look up to Saudiarabia..they want to implement its sort of government..thats is why we have to educate people..that whats happeneing in Saudiarabia is different to what happened during our Prophets (p)time..where there were a lot of freedoms..women were active participants in the society, there was interaction between men and women at all times..in the masjids the marketplaces, the battlegrounds..u name it..equal treatment etc.
Let me spell it out for you walaal...Saudiarabia and its preposterous culturespecific laws and its extreme scolars have done a great deal of damage to Islam. If SaudiArabia is fixed..many Muslims will eventually follow...but i dont see that happening anytime soon since SaudiArabia is spreading its version of Islam around the world with the abundant wealth Allah s.w.t bestowed upon them.

Thats where we seperate me and you.
1. The world doesnt revolve around Saudi-Arabia.
2. you dont need for the Saudis to fix up in order for you to practice your diin.
and last but not least, every person will have to acount for their deeds as individuals and no amount vilifying the hous of Saud will help you on judgement day.
Am out of this topic>>>>>

its not unnatural nor is it haraam as long as theres no sexual overtures
but seriously..seems like the Saudi police force has a lot of time on their hands.
and what exactly do they mean by 'indecent' clothes? i have a feeling the guys were wearing trendy western clothes instead of the white traditional robes.
