The Dalit in India - the lowest cast in Hinduism are not only forbidden to enter the homes of other casts - but they must also not draw water from the same well, nor eat from the same pot or plate. They must not glance at or allow their shadow to fall on the upper class (more human people). Occurrence of these acts are considered to pollute others who are not part of the untouchables. The Dalit as they known are not only Untouchables, but also Un-seeable, Unapproachable, Unshadowable and even Unthinkable'.
This happens in the Hindu cast system not in Islam!
