Re: Mandheera - Rwanda in the making
All you need to have to be Bah Darandodle is a female Darandodle ancestor somewhere in your lineage, and half of Somalia probably has that by now.
Bah Darandodle does not mean you actually ARE Darandodle.

neocon_2007,
looooooOOOOOOOOOL!
1. Isaaq do claim to be Dirs. Matter of fact, the traditional leadership of Isaaq in particular Garhajis claim to be Dirs (Dir Konfureed).
2. Jiddu and BOON do belong to the Oromo-Boran. But, you're wrong about the Garre Tuf. The Garre Tuf physical features is different from the Garre Quranyo. The bloody Garre Quranyo have negro features. Also the garre Quranyo claim to be Arabs! lol
James Dahl,
Some clans claim to be the nephews of others i.e. darandoole for political reasons. Pretending to be nephews of Powerful sub-clans helps!

I recant my "Hutu" usage. I think it triggered this long and acriminous battle.
Has the 8th century fighting stopped?

Walaahi bilaahi there is no way i'm going to get angry because of what someone said about an old man that died hundreds of thousand years ago.Voltage wrote:

Re: Mandheera - Rwanda in the making
I think this thread prooved without a shadow of a doubt how illiterate and how thoroughly lost Hawiye kids are. Illiterate to the core.
When any sub-clan says "anagoo bah hebel" it has NOTHING to do with the reer abti but the act of trying to show how powerful the FULL brothers are within the same sub-clan.
So when a Mareexaan says "anagoo bah-Xawaadle" ah baa ugaasnimada heesto, do you think that means by virtue of their mom being Xawaadle or some other importance associated with Xawaadle they deserve to be the ugaases??
I.diots without a doubt. It means all the sons form that BAH, whatever clan that is reer abti to their bah is irrelevant, the only importance is all the brothers who were FULL brothers.
Now go to sleep or read a book you illiterates

Voltage,
U seem to be pretty correct, the Garre in Shabelle Hoose, Baay are Digil. I've met some Garre from Gedo and NFD who also say they are Digil.
But there are a large part of Garre who are really close to Oromo.
Jesteye,
Tuf y Quranyo are Digil
I have never seen a Garre say they are Hawiye, never ever

Mmmmm! Illiterate?!
Marehan use the same system as the Midgans.
Shirib,
Sorry to break the news to you. But, Garre Tuf And Qoranyo can't agree on anything. On one side - you have half of Tuf claiming to be Gardheere samaale, and on the other side - you have half claiming to be Hawiye. Same goes for the Qoyanyow.

I'm happy for them - whatever they want to claim.

Re: Mandheera - Rwanda in the making
Abdi/Jeesteye ilay your mudulood right?
To simply put it, the Isaqs geneology does not surpass 25 generation, and they "came to Somalia" after Darood, the common Darood genealogy is from 27-31 names.
How does the typical hawiye abtiris go? We all know Hawiye had descendants when Darood came to Somalia, so your abtiris must be much more then us. Lakiin no Hawiye counts more then 14 generation to Hawiye
Why is that?
Abgaal Cismaan Darandoole Mudulood Hiraab Muhamoud Gorgarte Hawiye....
I helped you out..now how many names generation is there between you and your supposed forefather abgaal??
I know my exact lineage all the way to Darood Ismaciil, your is non-existent!

Re: Mandheera - Rwanda in the making
You say that as if being Midgaan is bad? Do you know 60% of Abgaals have some sort of Bantu in them? You practice sixir, you are the only Somali group who eat Bantu diet, and the only Somali group who is recorded as having married Bantus, and the only Somali group who sent your kids to missionary schools to get prosyltized, the only Somali group without traditional Somali dhaqan whose grandmothers shake their dabo and do niikis infront of every man in the community. Who are you as an ABGAAL to put down a section of Somali people who practice skill-based economy? Put up a mirror and look at your face kid
