What i dont understand is, what is the diffrence between Al shabaabs and sheikh Sharif's UIC?

go back to 2006 the islamic courts. they were a fushion of ahlu sunna wal jami3a and hardcore jihadi wahabis trained in afghanistan=alshabab. sheikh sharif represents the first group. they joined the jihadists because all ahlu sunna somali scholars saw warlords selling the jihadists to america as unacceptable. they sided with alshabab. BIG MISTAKE. the jihadis=alshabab are only interested in making africa an alqa3ida state and want their amir osama to rule it. they want osama to rule the whole region. other muslims want somalia for somalis.

I see sxb, you know what, i always thought the Shabaabs and the United Islamic Courts had some sort of Connection between them, even till now.. so they are not even playing for the same team, and that means IF they take control of somalia, and then The United islamic courts will come in, and the war will start all over again but this time between the UIC VS Al Shabaab?

exactly liiqaaye. alshabab are led by people who have never finished primary school and are hell bent on wars and destruction and believe in 100% osama bin laden's jihad while the islamic courts are led by educated muslim scholars who want proper islamic shariah, peace and progress for somalis.
