the solution to somalia is only diplomatic, NOT brutality or MORIYANISM
killings will only take us further down, more revenge more killings, we must avoid unjust killings as it is a disease and when ever you do it you will catch the disease

Lol @ the people advocating for Cumar Xaashi, Caydiid's junior warlord, and Abdi Qaybdiid, Caydiid's baggage handler, to take over Somalia. Maybe we should leave Al Shabaab alone to civilize Mogadishu.

Throughout the inter-USC wars Col.Omar Hashi was always opposed to Aideed. In fact he was the guy that nominated Ali Mahdi for the presidency.
He led the troops that fought Aideed in Hiiraan.

BINGO,, I never knew about this mans background.I heard he was patriotic man ,and also knew he was fighting ethiopian invaders..But i was wondering why him and shebab became so enemies to eachother .Its clear now he is former bloody warlord from the USC school.

Col Omar Hashi, Gen. Galal (the Ceyr one) and some other Ceyr intellectuals were always in Karaan during the 4 month conflict and openly opposed Aideed. In fact, Col Omar Hashi led the part of the Xawadle that supported Abgaal in the war.
When Aideed attacked Hiiraan, Col Omar Hashi took the entire arsenal of Mudulood to Hiiraan to fight off Aideed and he was successful.
In a 2007 interview on HOL, when asked about the failures of his people and clan, explicitly stated that, " a war between two brothers happened in Xamar, and we sided against our traditional neighbors which backfired on us in the end."
