I'm not saying Mogadishu doesn't look like that, I said that SOUTH PARK portrayed what it looks like. The city in the show was still pretty shitty, but much more accurately portrayed than Ethiopia or Afghanistan in earlier seasons.

I said South Park was ACCURATE, nothing more. And in general, they made Somalia look like a typical third-world country, I really expected an over-exaggeration like every other section of the world. Then again, people associate Somalia with Black Hawk Down, so they'd be puzzled to see people running around with sticks and string thongs like some parts of Ethiopia.

True say! Compare this episode to Black Hawk Dawn. It is an improvement by a huge margin. Kudos to the Jewish dudes who wrote the script
