The center is lowertown, centertown, and mechanicsville. the hawiye & dhulos are numerous there. And Ialready stated in my other post that the russell area is majorityly reer djoubti. and to make it clear, isaaq are not reer Djibouti. and all the isaaqs i ever knew never said they were reer djoubti.

And the south is a darood haven. I met every subclan of darood there. mjs, leelkase, awrtable, ogaden, warsengali, marehans, dhulos. Wallahi I met one guy from each of these clans. Also, Cadde Muse (former puntland president) lived on heatherington road (in the south). And currently Siad Barre's sisters son, also live in heatherington.
lali99 wrote:P.S. all im saying is that when ur saying reeer djibouti dont forget to include as well isaaq...
and on top of that which area of the city has the most somali population? ask any1 and they will say west...thus according to u reer djiboutiaan are the most in the east (which will include isaaq as well) and the west is mostly populated by isaaq...i guess u just shoot urself in the foot.....keep up with the name calling...if im im im im im/stttuuttteerring at least i make sense
Your an idiot. If you read my earlier post, I already stated the east was reer djoubti and the west was isaaq. And yes, the west has the biggest somali population. But they are not as concentrated as much as in the south. The whole Walkey Road(in the south) is little Xamar. They have "Somali" class in Ridgemont High School (in the south). They have 3 somali meat shops, and 2 restaurants. THERES NOT EVEN 1 SOMALI STORE IN THE WEST!

the fist sentence i underlign just showed ur ignorance..how can u claim and say things about somali population in ottawa when u dont even know that isaaq are also reer djibouti...loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool....wallahi ur a clown misse ur a person that barely leaves his comfort zone...sxb miggles with people and u will see reality..look at articles about djibouti clans, do a little research...it doesnt hurt....ask some1 of reer djibouti and ask them that question or even go to events held at french schools and ask one person......isaaq are not reer djibouti and u never met one?...how many isaaq do u know..like i said get out of ur bubble..

the second sentence u mention that i underlign says it all....I rest my case

Aiight, let's set the record straight cuz i could smell the bullshit here all the way from the Puntland section (at first, I thought it was coming from the Somaliland section since it's so close and usually the problem, but then i realized i recognized that smell and so it had to be coming from somewhere else ).

Jokes aside though, I've lived in Ottawa since 1990 and know Somalis from all across the city (some I grew up with, some through school, and some through places i've worked). Whatever Somali group is the majority in the city won't make a difference to any one of our lives so it's not even really important enough to lie about...but that doesn't change the fact that certain groups do live here in larger numbers than others. Djiboutians live here in very large numbers and so do MJ's, and it's debatable which one has larger numbers since they're both very deep here. As for Isaaqs, truthfully speaking, it's more realistic to compare Maxamuud Saleebaan to all the Isaaq clans put together in Ottawa....and I'm not just saying that just to say it, I'm saying that cuz you can literally put all the Isaaq clans together and realistically have a fair comparison between them and Maxamuud Saleebaan.

Lali, i don't know which South Ottawa u visited, but it can't be the one in the South end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada if ur saying there's only "a few MJ's there". I lived in the same neighbourhood near South Keys for almost 20 years and I'm baffled by the ridiculousness of that statement. Whether I'm MJ or you're Isaaq, ur comment is at a fierce, unrelenting standoff with reality. In my immediate neighbourhood alone, there's like 30 Somali families and more than half of them are MJ....the same is pretty much true for the other neighbourhoods in the South with significant Somali settlement. So I really don't know where ur information is coming from, but it's not from Ottawa. Then again though, ur figures have always been kinda skewed...didn't u say something like "Habar Awal alone is larger than Asians, and Ciise Muuse alone is larger than Habar Awal" back in the Puntland section?

It's common knowledge certain areas are known for having larger settlements of particular clans...Ottawa has alot of MJ's and Reer Djibouti clans, Columbus has alot of Mareexaan and Dhulbahante clans, London UK has alot of Isaaq clans, San Diego has alot of Ogaadeen, Rwanda has alot of Hawiye clans, 143 Main Street East apartment #24 in Boston has alot of Warsangeli, etc. The next discussion should be about what colour the sky really is (and no, the answer isn't "It's Isaaq")

I think what lali is tring to say is that why are you differentiating djiboutians with Isaaqs when djiboutians are ciise, gadabursi and Isaaq. Djiboutians are not only Ciise and gadabursi but Isaaq aswell.
