If you are able to cope with -20 C in your European / American winters, what's so bad about 40 C? I would rather have the latter if I could choose, 99,5% of all buildings have an AC and people barely go outside in the summer months, so it's not that bad.Somalian_Boqor wrote:dawwa9 I should be in the UAE in about three years inshallah as a Flight Instructor. Re: What Do You Do For A Living?
no voltage, medicine is a different course to what i am doing. Basically graduating as biomedical scientists allows to work in hospital labs under alot of different specialities. So you can work as a microbiologist, pathologist, histologist haematologist etc. These ppl are one step below doctors and they feed all the results from the patient physiological data to the doctor. the doctor then decides on the diagnosis and cure. As you progress up the ranks you also have a say in the diagnosis and treatment.Voltage wrote:Cinque I see being from a welfare state has its perks.
Elan are you a medical student or it is technical training?
when you are specialising in an area you need alot of training and pass the test to be a certified scientist. You also need the theory which you get from the degree. I guess its the same for doctors too. lots of theory and training to do before you become qualified doctor.

I am a work-at-home dental technician. I make porcelain and metal dental restorations.
I have a BA in history I earned working as a stock clerk at Sav-on Drugs. I was able to do it pay-as-you-go, so there was no debt. I am also a CDT, a Certified Dental Technician, a title that requires a minimum of 13 hours of CE per year. I learned OJT and have maintained the certification since 1978. I am an allied member of the California Dental Association.

Maskiin, you are even now liking it, xaalad xuun waa taas. I'm not gonna go and smell the different animal shit and see which one is better! I leave in England, and I hardly ever come across that.
I don't like West london sorry.
South West london is by far the best! Kew, Richmond [park], Wimbledon, Earls Court, South Kensington, Fulham, Chelsea.
lets ignore Brixton and those violent areas.

Elan,
I had no idea where Somalia was and absolutely no interest, when I was offered a Peace Corps job teaching there. I spent two years in the country, learned a little, was confused by a lot, and came away with many, many questions in my mind. It did not help that I was cut off from contact with my friends shortly after the Kacaan. I only began to be able to answer my questions after discovering Snet in 2005. I came here initially trying to find my friends.
This thread may give you some clues:

Chelsea, be near my hood.
Drogba.
But I like Man Utd.
lol@ become President, what is your qualifications?
'Ala kulli xaal, yeah make me an ambassador. Yeah, maldives would be my holiday, I mean work destination.
I like 'Blue Ocean' more than 'Village' but I'll give them another go, and see what all the fuss is about. There is two 'Blue Ocean ' in shepherds bush, or 'Ocean Blue' the names are similar anyways, but there is one before the other, and I like the one that is further, and there is a down place to eat.
