I don't blame you, To be honest its usually only Dhulbahantes that celebrate 26th of June. Even back in Somalia let alone in the west. I'm not trying to be tribal, its just the how it turns out to be..

Been badana, while I was in hargeisa in 2006 on that day the SLTV had a whole day celebrating and showing the history, they also did a xaflad downtown in madaxtoyada.

Your right majority ppl - Isaaq - don't celebrate it in the west but back home it's a huge occasion and this is what they all say: "wa maalinti ingiriiski baasayd ey naga tageen"
