I never feel embarrassed about buying Tampax. They are a basic necessity like toothpaste, and soap.

I do feel embarrassed when I have to buy a certain kind of medication like a rash cream or laxatives. Everybody uses them of course but it’s not like I want everyone else in line to know that I have an itch or I need to poop

Ick! I hate pads

. They’re messy, feel like diapers, even the ultra thin ones, and restrict movement and certain activities. They completely gross me out. I only use them at night when I go to bed.

I take it you’re a young teenager if you have such questions.

Just follow the instructions on the box. They take less than 10 seconds to use (once you get use to them) and the beauty of it is that you can’t even feel them. Unless you are having cramps it’s like you’re not even having a period.
