Ps. You think this phenomenon of Somali fathers not being around is new? Matter of fact most Somali men between 30-80 fathers had more then one wife meaning they themselves never really had any role models. What's failing us is our lack of deen and it's not just affecting the men but a lot of the women as well I don't know why only the guys are getting singled out. :down:

Whether you want to marry a Somali girl or not, is none of my concern. I was relating some of the thoughts of Somali Muslima's. I have seen plenty of good 'Somali' men, and have no reason to believe their all the same. However, I live in London and I see that the majority are into 'meel yacni' and most definitely the females out rank them in Education and perviously deen. Laakin these days I see so many young practising Somali guys.

I never said anything about Somali fathers not been at home :?: I said parents usually worry about the girls deen and self-respect, but overlook the guys. There is only one reason why the girls is more important than the guy, she can get pregnant.
