Yeah I can`t stand guys who say aboowe to me or say waan ku tuuga :down: I`m from Mudug,Gaalkacyo and we have a very firm accent no jiljilec there, reer Waqooyis are alright but anything north of Hargeisa madax wareer with their "galseer" iyo "mocoyee" talk :lol: mocoyee means grandmother for those of you don`t know.
thats the reer galbeed accent :lol: i use the word mucooyo it means great grandmother

bal iidooro maxaad Sanaag ka qabateen. I swear in the name of God, dadkaan cuqdad baa dishey.

xamud, aniga reer djibouti-da ayaa iga daran reer koonfur-ka, when you hear words like aabahaa wuxu kaa idhi iyo hooyadaa waxey kaa tidhi :lol:
Me personally I think reer waqooyi especially reer burco are sound very aggressove in their accent :mrgreen:

taas wa ruunta laakiinse - thats because the people in sanaag have enough land and live very far from each other - and some very big lands aint inhabited its only inhabited by Nomads which the figures cant keep up with their movements

Horta why is xasarad associated with reer bari... particularly reer sanaag and I don't want to say it but you know fish and that :| Perhaps it's one of those Somali myths but, I also once heard that there is even a place called something xasarad I'm not too sure though and it’s somewhere in Bari... Presumably Sanaag. Anyone care to elaborate...

Both my parents are originally from there.

First time i went there was 2004, second time was summer 2009 (a few months ago).

The region is stunning, but its not as
green as it was in 2004 :down:

WestLdnshawty that's because there has been droughts and deforestation's which is having a big effect on the beautiful Sanaag trees and wildlife

it's mainly those Rogue's from puntland attacking the natural resources of eastern Sanaag- somaliland - but the rest of sanaag starting from eastern ceerigabo of Midisho is under the control of sland and they make sure they reduce the use of natural tree's by hungary companies.
