The SNM had a task and that task was to overthrow the old big-mouthed ugly monster from power. It has succeeded with flying colours!!!!

In other rebel movement, it takes like 20 or 30 years to remove a well dug-in dictator with a strong army like that of Afwayne, but the SNM it only took less than 5 years of consistent defeats of the Somali Army in every major encounter. The SNM out-classed the poor Daarood led armed forces eventhough it was fraction of its size and with fraction of its fire power. In some major encounters such as the one in which Mujaahid Lixle died in Burco Duurey, there was only 180 SNM commandos facing a 5,000 Strong Somali National Army. The SNA were defeated so decisively and the Burco Duurey army base liberated.
