I can hold that view just like i can hold the view that the age of marriage for a woman should be set by the society she lives in and not when she hits puberty at 9 or 10. There are girls being married off at that age because some Muslims are using the argument that a girl is mature when she gets her period and is the reason why some Muslim governments have not set an age limit for marriage, leading to abuse by parents. Perfectly fine 1400 years ago but not now. We have to recognise times have changed.
ur comparing apples and oranges, age marriage and polygamy are 2 separate issues. Age limit has always been societal and changed with times, people marry when they see fit, and who are u to say when a society should set theirs, if a society see 9 or 10 fit, can u say wrong cause a different society set it at 15 or another at 18?
Polygamy on the other hand Allah has allowed, to say that u think it should not be allowed, u are claiming that u are correct, and Allah is wrong, which is BLASPHEMY
