The oxymoron of Somaliland's thinking is --they want to be separate from Muslim, Somali ppl, but they want to join and extend friendship to non-Somali, non-African, non Muslim ppl like the Jews? Am I crazy or is this world coming to an end?

Second it's better to delete the Shahada from your flag before you give Israel an army base in Somaliland, because they didn't even except when the prophet wrote the Shahada in his papers, they tell him to delete it, what makes you think they won't tell you guys "we won't recognize you unless you delete that shahada"?? huh?

The responses to this topic have shown my why Somalis are sheep.

The question "Should Somaliland establish diplomatic relations with Israeli" is not a realistic question. Before you get into "Muslim" and even explain why they should not the question is Can Somaliland establish diplomatic relations with anyone?

To establish relations you must be recognized. Israel does not even recognize you, nor does anyone else in the world even Ethiopia which should be the first country to recognize you if she could.

there is no question that Somaliland will be recognized diplomatically, soon or later, for having full legitimacy and the statehood of Somaliland will be real. The patience and resilience will pay soon inshallah

I believe somaliland should start small, its easy to bribe small nations, you just can`t deppended on the benevolence of western states,who are only intrested in their own strategic intrest

send envoys to these nation states
