As for this subject, objectively speaking, the truth is somewhere between what Xamari, Lali and Young have said. I'm not too familiar with Ottawa's different neighborhoods but I'm sure there's a decent sized Isaaq pop because they represent at least a third of the Djiboutians there. Still, I do not believe them to be be anywhere near a majority of the city's somalis. The same thing can be said of T.O. The east end (scarborough) is not what it used to be in the 90's, although still settled by isaaqs in plenty, there are other somali clans. . The West End is pretty much entirely southerners (of all affiliation) and that's where most of the city's somalis can be found. Having said all that, plainly I haven't said much, I don't know what somali clan runs Ottawa, Montreal or Toronto but I do know with certainty that The tamil hordes of Ceylon outnumber all the somalis in T.O. by at least 2 to 1
