Ungrateful to who? alhamdulilah I am grateful to Allah swt for allowing me to do a degree and also my parents for their sacrifices. In my opinion a degree in the west is wax bila naf ah compared to a degree from the university of Madinah, why should that concern you, I am entitled to my opinion right?
